Saints Row 3 due Fall 2011, THQ under "very tight gag order"

CEO Brian Farrell of THQ has announced that Volition Inc's Saints Row 3 will be releasing this Fall, but wouldn't reveal anything specific about it.

That's because he's been "placed under a very tight gag order" by the Saints Row team. The boss did tease that it sets a "new bar" in quality.

THQ vice president Danny Bilson has revealed details about Vigil Entertainment's upcoming Darksiders 2, and it'll be War-less for one thing.

The sequel stars a "different character" and its story unfolds "simultaneously" to War's in the first game. They couldn't have an apocalypse "for each rider."

THQ's fiscal Q2 posts $47m loss

Publisher THQ has revealed a $42m loss during this fiscal year's Q2, which ended September 30th. That's up from 2009's $5.6m loss.

Net sales managed $77m, down from last year's $101m of the same period. Nintendo DS sales were the biggest contributor, and then Xbox 360.

Darksiders 2 due sometime between April 2012 and March 2013

If you really enjoyed THQ and Vigil Games' Darksiders and can't wait for a sequel to the action game, well, you're in for a real long thumb-twiddling.

THQ has Darksiders 2 releasing in their fiscal year 2013, which is anytime from April 2012 to March 2013. The new IP was a hit selling 1.2m its first month.

Darksiders rides to PC on September 24th

THQ today confirms that the highly anticipated action adventure title Darksiders is scheduled to arrive on Windows PC on September 24th 2010 with a special Hell Book edition.

The Hell Book edition of Darksiders contains many items to excite both fans of Darksiders and PC gamers alike including a comic book and art cards created by legendary comic book artist, Joe Madueira and a soundtrack CD.
