Bandai Namco has announced that From Software's action fantasy sequel Dark Souls 2 has shifted over a million copies. That's not including sales of the PC version, which haven't yet been taken into account.

The good news? PC players can finally get their hands on From Software's brutal fantasy sequel, Dark Souls II. The bad news? Some users are reporting various problems, including crashes to desktop and controllers not being recognised.

Publishers Bandai Namco have set up a support page on the game's Steam Community site, and are encouraging players to post any problems they encounter there.

Due to an "issue with packaging" the PC retail version of Dark Souls 2 in the UK will not be available April 25th, unlike its digital counterpart. Namco Bandai confirmed the situation after reports of date changes.

They also state that this is an issue affecting the UK only and everyone else will get their boxed retail copies on time. May 2nd is the new UK street date for PC Dark Souls 2.

Praise the sun! Anyone who struggled through From Software's frankly bloody awful PC port of the first Dark Souls will be overjoyed to learn that the developer are seemingly making a much better go of it the second time around. A forum poster on NeoGaf has posted a screenshot of Dark Souls II on PC, showing off some respectable graphics options.
