Lights of the Warp: Apocalypse Public Beta (build 0.3.0)
---------------------------------------------------------
A LotW Plug-In by Magnor.
Welcome to the public beta of Lights of the Warp: Apocalypse. I am not going
to give a full documentation for this will wait for the first "real" release.
So here are just some things to know about LotW: Apocalypse.
1) Installation:
Just move the apocalypse folder and module file into your DC root directory.
Then launch the game and select "LotW: Apocalypse" in your Game Manager.
2) A few tips...
- First of all remember that Apocalypse games are MUCH larger than ordinary
ones. So prepare yourself to very heavy casualties to even take a small part
of the map. You'd rather revise your tactics instead of being crushed by a
determinate foe.
- The unit production is very, very low in Apocalypse. But you can improve it
by 8 times just by creating your Tier I command unit (such as Force Commander
or Big Mek for example). These bonus stay as long as your commander lives, so
keep him safe by all means or your opponent will have the opportunity to gain
a numerical advantage over you!
- There is NO ultimate uber unit in Apocalypse. Yes, you can have as much
Relic Units as you wish, but your opponent can too! The only way to gain an
advantage over your foes is to use at its best potential the sinergy betwenn
your troups. Remember to be imaginative in your tactics, and victory will be
yours!
