This package contains high-quality fire sounds for all available handguns in the game and individual pain sounds for both Allies and Axis. More precisely, it features the realistic fire sounds of these weapons taken from authentic material. Also, the distant sounds of the weapons which can be heard ingame whenever other players fire their guns at a far distance to the player are included, too. Additionally, the player pain and death sounds shall give you a taste of the madness of WWII battlefields back then.

nstallation

Run the installer application and point to your ...
"...\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNTNAME\day of defeat source" directory.

Click the Install button and await its completion.

uninstall

If there are problems or if you don't like the sounds, just remove
the file game_sounds_weapons.txt (in scripts folder) and the subfolders
weapons, ambient and player (in sound folder) from those locations and
everything should be fine again.

Be aware that I am not responsible for damaging your system or game when you
use my sound pack.
