Dead Island's campaign 25-30 hours for average gamer
According to a Gamespot video interview with Deep Silver's Peter Brolly about Dead Island, Brolly mentioned that the single player campaign will take 25-30 minutes for the "Average Joe" playing the game normally through the main storyline and taking a few side quests: "…the Average Joe is going to get, like, 25 to 30 hours of gameplay out of the game doing the main story and taking some side-missions."

Deep Silver has announced that the release date for their open world zombie apocalypse RPG-shooter Dead Island will be September 6 in North America and September 9 everywhere else.

GameTrailers has posted a 12 minute gameplay video of Dead Island, which shows it to be a cross between Borderlands and Fallout 3 by way of Left 4 Dead.

Deep Silver has released a new Dead Island trailer that shows off the island of Banoi and the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. Not as tearjerking as the family trailer that caused a stir, but still has a very sad feel to it.
