I have to give this a go after having only "BSG Online", "Beyond The Red Line" for "Freespace 2" and the "BSG" Mod for "Homeworld 2" to mess around with.

There's also an interesting BSG mod for Nexus:The Jupiter Incident(although the Stargate mod for that game is by far better). I think the game is on Steam nowadays, it's like a watered-down, a bit more action-and-strategy-oriented EVE.

I enjoyed Nexus, but for some unknown reason the last couple of patches screwed the visuals up on Win 7 so I couldn't play that mod. Might get it on Steam.

Im unable to download from here. Just gives me a blank page saying "expired".
