Larian has released a new Let's Play gameplay video of their upcoming roleplaying game Divinity: Dragon Commander, which the developer admits was overshadowed by the Kickstarter campaign for Divinity: Original Sin.

Jetpacked dragons are still ready to rule the skies in Divinity: Dragon Commander, but their take off has been delayed until August 6th. All who pre-order with GOG.com, past or future, will receive a free treat.

A DRM free copy of Master of Magic will be made available. The 1994 strategy and role-playing game "introduced many innovative elements" to the genre. Retail copies all feature GOG.com downloads.

Larian would consider bringing their upcoming RPG Divinity: Original Sin to console, CEO Sven Vinke has commented, but that Dragon Commander wouldn't work anymore.

Speaking to Strategy Informer, Vinke mentioned that a console version of Original Sin was simply down to finance and development:

"Original Sin makes sense on console for me, I think, if you do it split screen. Couch co-op would be great... that's purely a financial aspect, we just need to develop it."

Larian CEO Sven Vinke doesn’t believe in DLC, hoping that gamers will create custom content for his games themselves.

When asked about whether there were DLC plans for upcoming Divinity games Dragon Commander and Original Sin, he commented that there wasn’t any specific plans:

"I don’t know, I really don't know. We have no real plans for DLC. It’s not really our thing. I'm still a gamer who believes in a beginning, middle and end.

Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke has reported that neither PC which stored prototypes of their games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Dragon Commander have been recovered. Both games were to be demoed at the developer's GamesCom booth this week.
