Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 minimum required, get it here:

Note: I recommend that you do not use this if you have less than 3GB of system RAM.
This allows Skyrim to use up more than 2GB of memory, this will increase stability of Skyrim and performance by increasing the amount that can be loaded into memory at any one time. If you experience problems then simply do the same but UNTICK the box, and Skyrim will go back to normal.

I have removed the INI tweak from this page because I don't believe it actually does anything, considering the default is 76800 and people are setting this to 1800000000, something is not right here and the setting is not what people believe it to be.

If you are getting Error 51, please try verifying your game integrity first by opening Steam and right clicking The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, clicking Properties, going to the LOCAL FILES tab and then click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE...

Also, just because Task Manager says Skyrim is only using 800MB of memory or whatever - that doesn't mean there isn't significantly more in the graphics card. There's a lot more to memory management than just Task Manager.
