Petroglyph to close Battle For Graxia MOBA June 27th

The Las Vegas-based Petroglyph Games will be shutting down their MOBA Battle For Graxia June 27th after it has failed to achieve a sustainable community for the studio. They no longer accept purchases of currency.

Free currency has been given to current players with plans to make all items free after its last tournament. Petroglyph "reserve the right to bring BFG back" in the future, and it is their hope to do so.

Defiance and Rift developer Trion Worlds hit with major layoffs

Back in December, MMO developer Trion Worlds was hit with a round of layoffs. The studio chalked it down to "a response to market conditions."

Petroglyph confirms layoffs, still "excited" about End of Nations

Although development for End of Nations has switched from Petroglyph to Trion Worlds, the studio says that it's still excited about the release of the project in a statement that confirms the developer has laid off 19 staff.

"The team at Petroglyph is very excited about End of Nations, a title which earned more than 50 nominations and awards while in development, and looks forward to its upcoming release." read the statement.

End of Nations open beta will be postponed "indefinitely"

Trion Worlds has announced that the open beta for End of Nations would be delayed "indefinitely". This comes after their latest round of closed beta testing.

Trion Worlds has announced that the last beta testing period for developer Petroglyph's MMORTS End of Nations will be starting on the 4th October at 4:00PM GMT and will run through to the 11th October, 5:00AM GMT. Trion will be lifting the NDA for the beta test as well.
