CCP release EVE Online: Odyssey June 4th, "expression of our love for space"
EVE Online developer CCP, creator of a whole galaxy nonetheless, has marked June 4th in their calendar as the date their 19th free expansion will be releasing - Odyssey. It's a 'love letter to space exploration'.
A lot is changing with Odyssey such as the scanning mechanic being revamped, a fresh UI, rewards for finding hidden treasures among the stars, new ships, graphics updates and more.

CCP Games has announced that their sci-fi MMO EVE Online has achieved a huge milestone of 500k subscribers "for the first time in the game's history." Their numbers have been climbing for a decade.
This past December saw the release of the "18th free expansion" to EVE, as well as relaunching the MMO in China. In January CCP's open beta of MMO DUST 514 began.

CCP Games' EVE Online tie-in DUST 514 has now officially begun its planentary invasion on PlayStation 3 as it enters open beta in this "unprecedented persistent single-shard universe".
For the first time two games come together, bridging across different genres and platforms in the MMO space. CCP announce there are to be "no further character resets" for DUST 514.

DUST 514 migrating to EVE Online servers

CCP has announced that DUST 514 accounts will finally be migrated into the main EVE Online servers this week on the 10th January, meaning that DUST 514 players will be finally be able to voice chat with EVE Online players, and add mail boxes as well.

EVE Online gamers who were hoping to have their fortunes affected by DUST 514, or the vice versa, will have to wait a while, as the touted crossplatform financial interaction between the PlayStation 3 shooter and the space sim MMO will be implemented very slowly.
