EVE Online and DUST 514 crossplatform functionality to be implemented slowly
EVE Online gamers who were hoping to have their fortunes affected by DUST 514, or the vice versa, will have to wait a while, as the touted crossplatform financial interaction between the PlayStation 3 shooter and the space sim MMO will be implemented very slowly.

Whilst assuming 2012 "is not the end of the world," developer CCP is ready to tease what lies on the horizon for EVE Online's universe in terms of balancing. Battlecruisers are 'next in line' for revolution.
Battleships will get time under the coding knife too as some "require a little face lift," despite already being "fairly well balanced." Of course that's if we survive the Mayan calendar running out.

EVE Online's first-person shooter counterpart DUST 514 for PlayStation 3 is in closed beta right now, and developer CCP is ready to implement more features in their CODEX build of the MMO.
Much like in EVE Online, DUST 514 mercs can now join Corporations. They also add female avatars, new weapons, earnable skill points and new environments. Double Skill Points until the 8th.

CCP Games has announced that the Retribution expansion will be hitting EVE Online on the 4th December. The expansion marks the 10th anniversary for the space sim MMO.
