US official killed in Libya was veteran EVE Online gamer
The tragic news of deaths from an attack launched by armed mobs on a US embassy in Libya, which has also claimed the life of the US ambassador, has also claimed a senior EVE Online player.
Sean Smith, aka Vile Rat, was working at the embassy compound in Benghazi when it was overrun. Smith was the director of the Goonswarm alliance and a former Stellar Management councillor.
