Original Codemasters database

METHOD

1. Download Tasev Database Editor

2. Backup C:\Program Files\Codemasters\F1 2010\database\database.bin

3. Open the database editor and change the schemaDIRT2.xml to schemeF12010.xml

4. Open the database.bin file.

5. Ctrl + F, Search Mclaren (Its the easiest way to find the correct section, don't use another team)

6. Depending if you just want one extra team available you can do this on all the teams or just the one you want.

7. Find the line for your team #

8. Change the # to a 5 to have the team available during the starter interview.

9. File > Save > database.bin

10. Make sure its in the same location as the original (backed up) file.

11. Once you have joined the team, save and exit the game. Replace the modified database with the one you backed up to ensure the teams remain as competitive as they should be.
