Very nice and "very" much like STALKER, but I kind of believe (or rather have high hopes) that this one will be (much) better.

Like someone said; it's oblivion with guns. Let's just hope Bethseda learned a thing or two from Oblivion and made Fallout 3 better.

A nice change of scenery, with the new setting and all. Quite a positive step. Huge gun emplacements, epic scale... nice. I live near Washington, so the locale seemed in an odd way somewhat...ordinary? Save for the nuclear devastation, of course.

Fallout 3 is a seriously done game with a lot of good innovations based on TES IV engine. I was afraid that they will ruin the fallout title with this release, but I must say my expectations were wrong, and I'm happy about that. The reason why I am writing it just now, in 2010, is that I've found some very nice mods which totally balance the game and improve AI to a whole new level. Even if the mods aren't developed by Bethesda (of course they're not), I still have to credit them for giving us excellent foundations for developing this game even further. I just wish that they release a normal expansion pack which would continue the main storyline in a proper way.
