Fallout: New Vegas "Gun Runner's Arsenal" DLC announced

While Lonesome Road is the last of the major, plot-driven DLC, Bethesda has announced new downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas that basically just adds some weapons and perks, called the "Gun Runner's Arsenal" DLC pack.

The long-awaited, oft-delayed "Lonesome Road" downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas will finally be available on September 20 on Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Steam. If that weren't enough, the two DLC that was awarded free to preorders, "Courier's Stash" and "Gun Runners' Arsenal", will also be available for purchase on September 27.

Bethesda has announced in its official blog that the third downloadable content pack is now available for Fallout: New Vegas, called 'Old World Blues'. The DLC title comes from "an expression in the wasteland called 'Old World Blues.' It refers to those obsessed with the past they can’t see the present, much less the future for what it is. Their eyes are like pilot lights, guttering and spent, the realities of their world continuing on around them as they stare into the past."

Interplay: Bethesda wants "entire" Fallout MMO incompatible

Troubled Interplay, both legally and financially, has issued a statement to the court in the ongoing case battle between the two saying Bethesda 'knew'.

What they 'knew' was that the MMO would use more than just the franchise name. They say Bethesda's claims would mean wrong "story, characters, and art".

No longer releasing this month, Fallout: New Vegas' Old World Blues DLC is now heading for July. A trailer for the latest add-on will arrive "in the coming weeks".

It will release on all thee platforms simultaneously. We learn how Majove's monster population came to be as we "unwittingly become a lab rat".
