This map was always my favorite back in the days when I played Vietcong.
Also it was the first map I ever played, and since then I loved it.
I'm talking about Haiphong-2.5, one of the best maps ever developed for Vietcong.
Now I took the time and tried to rebuild it for FarCry 2.
Although it is not possible to rebuild it exacly, I gave my best and tried to make it as exact as possible.

Yeah, I changed some things here and there, and made it a little bigger, but the basic layout is
like the original Haiphong from Vietcong, but with a lot more vegetation.

Place the file "Haiphong.fc2map" in ".../My Documents/My Games/Far Cry 2/user maps/".

- Middle-sized map for up to 20 players+
- All Gametypes supported
- Fort and Harbor, seperated by a canyon now filled with water.
- Fort has the typical huge balcony.
- Every building which is on the original is in this or another way on this map.
- More cover (Boxes, Rocks etc.)
- More vegetation.
- 10/10 Ammo piles scattered over the whole map.
- Three ways to the other side; Tunnel, Main Bridge, Small Bridge.
- Looks good with every time and every weather.
- Known bugs: none yet. If you find one, just report it. E-mail is above.
