Sports Interactive is developing Football Manager 2012 reveals SEGA, and it will be arriving on PC this quarter four. It's "another year of evolution" they say.

Just to be safe there's "some revolution thrown in for good measure" too, and the studio highlights what fans can expect. 3D matches have "new animations".

The studios are "on top of the game," and are "very integral" to SEGA profitability. CA seen as "jewel in the crown" of SEGA - has "consistent highest quality".

SEGA has said in its fiscal report that Western sales of Platinum Games' sci-fi shooter Vanquish, and Football Manager 2011 were "generally weak".

That's because of "sluggish personal consumption" in both Europe and the US. Vanquish and FM 2011 both failed to break 1 million copies sold.

Industry "still not seen" as real career

Sports Interactive's Miles Jacobson comments there's "still a lot of work to do" to get the videogames industry thought of as something here to stay.

Frankly it's not being taken seriously enough, except when "many publications and commentators" brand it 'evil'. Not thought of as "career choice" still.
