Freelancer has nice graphics and easy-to-use game controls, the Single-Player storyline is detailed & has many 'layers' for you to work through. As the name suggests though, you don't have to follow the storyline all the time and can freely explore, trade or fight whom or wherever you please. There are a wide variety of ships you can choose from and a mass array of weaponry to keep you busy.

Overall Freelancer is a big, good game driven by a complex storyline & interaction with NP characters. If you like - give the multiplayer a go too as there are plenty of decent servers still active. Eagle Utopia is a reliable, active server.
