Mod: Phoenix 1.07
The Phoenix mod puts back what was forgotten, makes work what was faulty, in other words, a working version of Freelancer where every model supplied with the game is actually seen in the mod. You can either fly it, buy it or destroy it.

The mod was written with Multiplayer in mind. On our dedicated server the mod shines with many extras only available on the server, a fully dynamic economy, player banking, clan ships, custom join messages for characters, cloaking (on some ships) and many more features.

This is not to say Singleplayer has been neglected. While the campaign side of the game won't work due to the many changes implemented, the Open Single Player version does work and lets you play just after the campaign missions are over. Not only that, exclusive to the 1.07 version of the mod, you now have a price randomiser which alters pricing on commodities, equipment and ships in the Open Single Player version!

VERSION 1.07
************

Yet more bug fixes
Open Single Player version fixed and improved with the addition of a price randomiser which alters commodity, equipment and ship prices to simulate a working economy
Changed the distance large FX can be viewed. This allows things like the Neutron Star effect and other custom ones i added in earlier versions to be viewed from 100k away.
All custom SUR files have been redone to eliminate the odd random crash that happens. These files are the invisible hitboxes that register hits on the ships and are a known cause of crashes. The new SUR files have been made with the OBJ->SUR utility by Schmackbolzen and are a vast improvement over earlier efforts.
Some minor texture updates to some of the ships and new glass colours for the ships with transparent cockpits
Exclusion zone added in Alaska to the Nomad gate leading to Omega 7 so the asteroids don't poke into the gate.
Navmap fixed, now shows correct political zones based on reputation including tradelanes
All spacedomes changed to destructible
Razids made easier to kill so you can now get their eggs more readily. Beware, everybody wants them!
Updated Razid texture with lightmaps added
Nomads dumbed down a little from last version
Nanobot drops increased
