This week will see the release of The Lost Shores content update for Guild Wars 2, and developer ArenaNet is ready to start detailing what it heralds; a "massive one-time event" for Tyria.
Users get, for free, a "mysterious zone" to explore for all character levels, a new dungeon, a new PvP map, new gear including Exotic and Legendary items and crafting updates.

ArenaNet is yet to detail its Guild Wars 2 Lost Shores event, but we finally have a schedule. Community Lead Martin Kerstein provided the information via a forum post.

ArenaNet has posted a very short teaser about a "massive one-time" event that will take place in their free-to-play MMO Guild Wars 2. Players will need to solve a mystery of "monstrous proportions".
It will take place in The Lost Shores as the studio tease with the opening line: "Something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows..." An update is due for Guild Wars 2 this November 15th.
