It seems like this expansion wouldn't be worth 50 whole dollars unless you were very impatient. I like the amount of depth it adds to the game. The two new classes are very cool, and the setting is great. The only problem is that it feels like they took a lot of the fun out of the single player aspect in this expansion and made it more about leaping to the highest level while accumulating all the skills too quickly. I don't recommend buying this as its own campaign, but if you enjoy Guild Wars: Prophecies then this is totally worth 30-40 dollars. The missions are enjoyable, and the classes are a really great change of pace.
