Dolores is a game that tries to deliver a different take on the first person shooter genre. Instead of a gun you have psychokinetic powers that enable you to pick up and throw large objects.
Dolores is an attempt to juxtapose creepiness and cuteness and then add some action to the mix.
Dolores is a Half Life 2 mod. This basically means that it is built on Source engine technology and you will need to have Half Life 2 installed in order to play Dolores.

Dolores is a first person game and if you have played these types of games before then you should be up and running in no time. The mouse basically controls where you’re looking and you use the AWSD keys to move around. Dolores can influence her surroundings using her psychokinetic powers. Certain items can be picked up by pressing right mouse button. Clicking left mouse button will then throw this item. Some things cannot be picked up but sometimes you can still push them by walking up to them and pressing left mouse button. Play around with it and you’ll get the hang of it.

The game starts when Dolores in a dream wakes up and finds herself in the childhood home she left behind all those years ago. As she starts to wander around the big southern style mansion memories from the past, she thought she had left behind, keeps appearing before her. She ends up in the main hall where 3 sets of foot steps lead out from a big door. By following these foot steps Dolores can try to uncover what lies buried deep in her sub consciousness.
