Bloodgulch re-texture

You will need:
HMT 3.5
the whole bitmaps folder (extract it to ur desktop)

IF YOU KNOW HOW TO INJECT BITMAPS JUST BY LOOKING AT THE FILE NAME, THEN THIS README
IS POINTLESS TO YOU (be sure to read the credits though) IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE FOG
PLEASE JUMP TO THE (OPTIONAL FOG) SECTION!


Bitmaps (REMEMBER TO BACKUP UR MAPS!!)

1. In HMT, open up bloodgulch.map in your halo map directory
(eg: X:Program Filesmicrosoft gameshalo trialmaps where X is your disk NOTE: this
is the default install directory! if you installed halo somewhere else, go to where you
installed it and find the maps folder)


2. Go to the Resource Browser section of your HMT v3.5 and find the section called
[bitm]BITMAPS. Click on the + sign to expand it.


3. Locate the tags in the section below (on the right side of the arrow: -->) and inject
the bitmap .dds file on the left side of the arrow
(ex: you will inject the bitmap found in the bitmaps folder i told you to extract called
(detail grass1.dds.1.dds) to the tag found in HMT v3.5 (levelsa30bitmapsdetail grass))

To inject a bitmap, go under the Tag Editor in your HMT v3.5 and click on the tex saying:
1. (picture size) (ex: 1. 256x256). Then click the (inject texture) button beside the
preview window and locate your bitmap .dds file. When you found it, double click it.

4. After injecting the bitmaps, click save!


OPTIONAL FOG
Since this map is made to be at sunset time, adding orange coloured fog will make it more well, sunset-ish

If you want to do this optional step, please go to the tag under [sky]Sky section in the resource browser in
hmt v3.5. Expand by clicking on the + sign beside it.

In there, there should be only one tag. Click it and go under the tag editor in HMT v3.5 Edit the tag
according to the information below

Fog Color (R) : 1
Fog Color (G) : 0.43
Fog Color (B) : 0.22
Max. Thickness: 0.2
Start Distance: 0
Solid Distance: 100
