This is an update to the total conversion mod Battlestar Galactica: Fleet Commander. This mod, based on the Battlestar universe, places you in charge of the entire Colonial Fleet.

File Instructions:: This is a Battlestar Galactica Modification for Homeworld 2. Players will be able to live the dream of commanding the colonial (or cylon) fleet! Play with ships from both the old series and the new one!

We update often if you didn't download this from sourceforge.net you might not have the most recent version. The most recent release can be found at Hw2bsg.sourceforge.net
This is a Work in Progress Demo Release targeted at modders and modder-wannabes. Many features have yet to be implement, you may even experience a crash (delete your old Profile, try again, then try again with the lowering HW2's graphic settings). Just because one map crashes doesn't mean they all will so try out others. We have so much stuff to do that people don't even think about a "final" release date, it's probably years down the road.

To Add untextured ships to Skirmish for PCs (untextured ships crash OSX and some PCs):
1. Shutdown HW2 if it is running.
2. Make a copy of HW2_ROOTDatascriptsstartingfleetshur.lua in case you make a mistake.
2. Uncomment (remove the "--") from the lines in HW2_ROOTDatascriptsstartingfleetshur.lua using a text editor.
3. Save your changes to hur.lua
4. Start the mod.
5. Please do not report texture related bugs on these untextured ships.
If the game crashes copy your copy of hur.lua back and try again.
Enabeling the Flattop to repair:
1. Shutdown HW2 if it is running.
2. Make a copy of HW2_ROOTDatashiphur_flattophur_flattop.ship in case you make a mistake
3. Uncomment (remove the "--") from the line --addAbility(NewShipType, "RepairCommand", 1, 500, 9, {SuperCap = "18",}, {Frigate = "18",})
4. Save your changes.
