Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester has high hopes for the continued swell of new platforms, providing they stay open for easy innovation and creativity. He sees "four OSes that will compete" for our attention.

They'll be "Windows, iOS, Android" and most likely Linux because of Steam's outpour of support. It's now "really tough" for indies to get on Windows and iOS - more closed now, ending a golden age.

Paradox Interactive has announced a new dungeon building game developed by Cyanide, Impire, which is a spinoff of the city-building sim Majesty. Players will build a lair with their mischevious imps, and protect it against invading heroes with minions, traps and spells.
