Torn Stars, as a simulation, was meant to depict a fairly realistic space environment. As a result space is quite dark, lacking almost any ambient light. However, this may not suit everyone perfectly. Thanks to the efforts of Whismerhill, we now have a mod that will change all the cluster's systems' ambient lights to one of 3 preconfigured settings. So if you are finding the game too dark, by all means download this mod, follow the included instructions, and enjoy!
