Unstable Space requires a fresh install of Independence War 2, and application of the F14.6 patch, prior to installation.
Unstable Space is also best played with a joystick or a gamepad. Do not try to use a mouse and keyboard, as it was never meant to be played that way.
Unstable Space is a simulation, and does not contain any storyline, or scripted quests/adventures. The entire star cluster of the Middle States is simulated and can be lived in and interacted with in numerous ways.
