Telltale: Walking Dead success attracts other licenses, will reveal more in 2013

Telltale founder and president Kevin Bruner says that, "on the heels of the success of Walking Dead," a lot of executive higher ups understand better what Telltale does with licenses in their games.

The studio is getting a growing number of gentlemen callers, and they are some Telltale "never would have imagined" to be. Bruner says they'll be making more licensed game announcements in 2013.

Telltale Games has announced that Jurassic Park: The Game, their latest episodic adventure game based on a major motion picture franchise from Universal (the other being Back to the Future: The Game), has gone gold. The game will be released on the 15th November on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC.

TellTale's announced that Jurassic Park: The Game will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on 15th November, 2011. Normally TellTale releases its games in episodic format over a few weeks, but every chapter will be available to download when Jurassic Park launches.

The game storyline picks up on the stormy night as Jurassic Park began to fall apart –when Dennis Nedry stole a Barbasol can full of invaluable dinosaur embryos. He died trying to deliver it. He never knew it contained a tracking device.

Telltale Games has announced that Jurassic Park: The Game will officially be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The press release also hinted why no games have been announced for the Xbox 360 since Sam & Max Season 2 was released on XBLA. This release will be the first product published by Telltale on the platform under their recently signed Publisher Licensing Agreement with Microsoft.
