Rumour: Dev team behind L.A. Noire let go, Whore of the Orient 'on hold'
According to anonymous sources the development team behind L.A. Noire, who were formerly known as Team Bondi, have been let go after their Whore of the Orient project failed to secure a publisher.
KMM's Doug Mitchell has said that the "unique and extraordinary story and game" of Whore of the Orient isn't being abandoned, but didn't confirm or deny reports of staff layoffs.

Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter revealed some startling news from the NPD on his Twitter feed: Max Payne 3 did less than half of LA Noire's launch business in the same period of time.

PC gamers can now enjoy L.A. Noire with DirectX 11 support as Rockstar Games issue a surprise patch. An option to choose between DX9 and DX11 renders is added to the launcher.

Fans of the action adventure game L.A. Noire are still hoping that a sequel will be released, despite the closure of developer Team Bondi under a dark cloud of controversy. Rockstar isn't counting out the possibility.

GAME has just announced the shortlist for this year's BAFTA GAME Audience Award which is the only selection of titles voted on by the public for the upcoming ceremony.
The shortlist was selected by a panel but now it rests with us. The winner will receive the award March 16th. Last year's prize went to Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops.
