Left 4 Dead 2 Cold Stream dated August 3rd for Xbox 360
This Friday the Cold Stream add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 will be arriving on Xbox 360, announces Valve. The DLC won't be free like its release on PC but will be priced at 560 Microsoft Points.
The Xbox 360 date was already pushed backed for the fan-made add-on which the studio snapped up and polished. It becomes the third full campaign expansion for the Valve zombie series.

The official release of the Cold Stream campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 is July 24th, ending its community beta period after a year. Valve have been mining data to make adjustments.
The beta began March 22nd, 2011 after the DLC unveiled earlier in February. Cold Stream is a community-made piece of content from the creator of the 2 Evil Eyes campaign.

Valve is not working on Left 4 Dead prequel with Payday developers

A rumor sprang up yesterday that posited that Valve's project with Overkill Software, which developed Payday: The Heist, would be a prequel to Left 4 Dead. Valve's Chet Faliszek shot down that rumor, saying it was completely fabricated.

Payday: The Heist developer Overkill Entertainment announced a partnership with Valve last month, although what the two firms would be working on wasn't clear until now.
According to a source close to CVG, Overkill are working on a Left 4 Dead game that will tell the story of a zombie outbreak before the original Left 4 Dead.
