Mafia 2 producer gives apology for "gay space marines" remark
2K Games producer Denby Grace has issued an online apology to those who took exception to his use of the term "gay" followed by "space marines".
It was a remark he made about gamer obsessions today in videogames. Grace says he was referring to the "hyper-macho 'bromance'" in today's shooters.

Brand new DLC for Mafia II has been announced by 2K Games and it's a story-driven bundle called Joe's Adventures for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
We take the role of Joe Barbaro, Vito's best friend, and are promised a "dramatic storyline" and extra areas for Empire Bay. It's out later this year.

Once again wise guys have muscled their way to the UK chart top with Mafia II, with Kane & Lynch 2 dropped 3rd by Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2.
The aerial fighter exploded from 10th to 2nd place last week. Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions entered in at 6th and R.U.S.E. 8th.

How's the best way to see if your videogame has some real 'naughty' in it? Try and get it sold in the UAE, that's how. Mafia II joins the ban list.

The UK all formats chart is still knee deep in the mob as Mafia II once again sits atop the pile with Kane & Lynch 2 kept in second place.
Wii Sports Resort has had a little resurgence thanks to Nintendo Wii sales. Toy Story 3 and Red Dead Redemption have slipped down one.
