Paradox has announced that a new patch for March of the Eagles adds modding tools from the popular Crusader Kings II which will allow gamers to mod March "in nearly every aspect imaginable, as well as play with multiple simultaneous mods."

Paradox Interactive has announced that preorders for March of the Eagles are now available from major digital distributors, including GamersGate, which has a $2 USD discount on preorder as well as a free copy of Sengoku.

Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester has high hopes for the continued swell of new platforms, providing they stay open for easy innovation and creativity. He sees "four OSes that will compete" for our attention.

They'll be "Windows, iOS, Android" and most likely Linux because of Steam's outpour of support. It's now "really tough" for indies to get on Windows and iOS - more closed now, ending a golden age.
