Not nearly good enough...
Game is a re-texture of Rome total war. Exept agent merchant, and division of cities between economic and militaristic, nothing new. Few cosmethic changes like varied looks of soldiers on the battlefield, changes in appearance due to armor upgrades, etc... Read More

It is good game, and the best thing about it is that it has a Lord of the Rings mod!

Good
Bad : AI Sucks. Tons Of Bugs. Money Goes Down Quickly At Campaign. Faction Endings Are Just The Same. Cavalry Not Attacking Spearmen.
Good: Music Is Good. Battlefield Is Good.

M2:TW has almost nothing new.Everythiung in that game has been seen in previous Total War series.The ONLY new thing in M2:TW is Merchant agent.Everything else is shit.

Medieval 2: Total War
It says Sega on the screen but it has all the Hallmarks of a Carlsberg advert ‘Probably the best game of the decade.’ So if Carlsberg made computer games it would certainly make them like this.

Amazing

Ok this game has its problems this is true:
Unsubtle negoiations with fractions that force you to distrust aliances.
No sensible 'rights of passage' treaties to use within negotiations.
Battles that are too easy.
Naval warfare is pathetic.

Great with more Cons... than Pros...

Ok, I know, great graphics, sounds, lanscapes, castles, etc. but AI is not very challenging.Sieges are dull and I often press autoresolve button to skip them. Diplomacy is slightly better than medieval 1 but still you can be backstabed by your long time... Read More

BIG, BEAUTYFUL AND MASSIVE
I still have to get used to the 8GB of space needed to this monster, but luckly it is worth of it.
The Total War Series are all great games, graphic is still irrelevant, but with such a good base it's the only thing that can be improved.
