Alpha versions of a merge utility, fullanimmerge.py, and an extract utility,
fullanimextract.py. These work with Caliban's unpacked animations directory
which has .cas files with the full header and footer information. The merge
operates on a selected regular unit in Milkshape .ms3d format and a selected
.cas animation file and merges the two into an .ms3d file with animation
frames. The extract pulls out the animation information and makes a full
formatted .cas file with the name extractedanimation.cas. This can then
be renamed and put back in the game. Your mod .cfg file must include
the switch
[util]
no_animdb = true
to force the game to regenerate pack.dat, pack.idx, skeletons.dat, and
skeletons.idx in your mod /data/animations folder.
