This mod is made to make the game more realisitic when recruiting units. What is the point of recruiting a unit in a higher level building when the stats of the unit is the same as a low level building? Since the military building is more advanced, it should give a more effective training to the unit that is trained in it, therefore, more experience. This mod also makes building of each level more rewarding. Instead of only getting to recruit a new kind of unit, you also get to recruit more experienced units than the previous building.
Units that are recruited from a higher level building will be more experienced than a unit that has been recruited from a low level building. All upgrades of military buidlings that are lv 2 or 3 higher will give experience points to your unit that are recruited. For example, Town Watch doesn't give any experience points to your units, but the last upgrade, Royal Armoury, will give 4 experience points to your units. Archers that are recruited from a city barrack does not get as much experience points as archer recruited from a more professional building such as a Marksmen Range. This ensure that if you are going to want to build an army strong in archers, you would invest your florins in buildings such as a Bowyer. This mod also allows more diversity between factions. For example, if you are England, you would want to spend most of your money on Ranges to get the most out of your longbowmen. Same thing goes for France as you would want to spend your money on Stables to get more experiences on your cavalry army.
-You can recruit more naval units in cities than you can in castles.
-The last upgrade for smiths, Armour Factory, has an extra feature to upgrade weapons to make it more useful. Paying 15000 florins just for a certain unit to get an extra armor level seemed useless.
-Guild Houses such as Knights Templer will have more experienced units as you get a better house for it. Headquarters will let you get Knights who have 7 experience points, but roughly cost 9000 coins to build.
-Professional Military Academy that allows you to recruit units like French Mounted Archers costs more but gives units recruited experience points. I have also added Mounted Longbowmen to be recruitable for England.
-Other extra buildings that recruit units such as a Caravan and Bull Ring will costs more but will have more experienced units.
The installion is very simple. Just move, extract, or copy the "export_decr_buildings" in your data folder and replace your old one.
