You hit the nail on the head IronJack. I felt the very same way when "RTW" came out, and mow "M2TW" has been dumbed-down even more than that. I would have liked to have seen the complexity of the original "MTW" with the graphical splendour of this one... Read More

I love this game but it seems they dumed it down alot compaired to the complex original MTW. I like the improvments from all the other TW games but hate that they took out alot of the more "confusing" parts that gave it a learning curve that made want... Read More

Nasty thing. Same thing happened to me with Rome Total War. I broke the CD as I was taking it out of the box for the first time. So I do feel with ya! But we do not undertake such discussions here as sharing copied games is illegal. Sorry!

How do make "add-on_to_regionmod_1.3.rar " work after downloaded
The "6 extra factions Irish Serb Armenians" add-on to bigmap 1.3 has no description of how to install it. Could anyone inform me on how to do it? I feel embarrassed that over 500 or so people have downloaded it and i'm the only one whos stuck afterwards

Slaves
its simle just go to descr.strat in your Grand Camp. file and change slaves from non-playable to start playable (the one with spain and venice.). no need for a mod

Rise of Kings 1.0
Rise of Kings 1.0 is bugged. Played as Russia and it crashed in the middle of the turn. As well, there was no sound so had to copy it over.

The new patch really does smooth game out. Ide also try those 2 mods. That weird shangy bangy something mod is great.

Medievil total war 11 needs patch
Great game but there is a bug,when i am in a battle with the tamorids the game crashes back to desktop, this occurs in about 7 out of ten battles it only happens while fighting this faction.

got new demo
got the new demo and they must have fixed some bugs since the last one cos it works allbeit a bit slowly, cant tell yet whether its better than Rome GAMEPLAY wise yet the battles seem a bit too big if you know what I mean

the problem may be the cpu because it doesn't support SSE2 , but the golden edition of the demo must work on cpu without sse.Can you tell me wich

Nope I haven't myself. From what I can say by your system, it is either CPU or Graphics Card. Could well be GFX card. But I'm not an expert than again. Good luck!

has anyone else had any trouble runnin it, my pc won,t even look at it , it,s athlon xp 2600 with 1024 gig of ram sp2 with a radeon 9550 o/clocked to erm well overclocked anyhow , it runs comp of heroes fine..I,am sure they,ll fix the bugs soon

problem
the worst thing is that the game won't work only on processors that support SSE2 , maybe just the demo , but if the full version will need the sse2 then many will not be able to play. i am in the same zone :((

Demo thoughts
Ok so thoughts on the demo? Graphics are really nice but I think A.I. still suffers from same problems as in RTW, which made me not like RTW all too much. That aspect of it anyway.
