Custom FOV update for PC Metro: Last Light, 4A Games warn of 'breakages'
Developer 4A Games has heard the rallied cry of the community and are going to let PC fans tweak a config file to adjust the Field of View setting for Metro: Last Light. However, they warn of the consequences.
The studio thought of offering "three different FOV presets" but it would demand "significant work to re-do every animation," adjusting the HUD, UI and other odd bits. So they compromise.

Deep Silver has announced that Metro: Last Light, the sequel to Metro 2033, is now available in North America for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will be launched on Friday, the 17th May, worldwide.

Dead Island publisher Deep Silver, new owners of Volition and the Saints Row IP, have described themselves as a "small, guerrilla tactics company," with COO Geoff Mulligan adding they 'don't want to go triple-A'.
Mulligan jokes that they're "much better than the Activisions, EAs, and Ubisofts" out there because, while they may be valued at billions, Deep Silver "make money." They also acquired Metro: Last Light.
