File Instructions:: "1647 was a strange year in which signs on earth and the sky seemed to announce disasters and unusual events. Contemporary chroniclers recall the huge numbers of locusts swarming from the Wild Fields and destroying crops and grass, which forecast Tartar raids. There was a grand eclipse of the sun in the summer and shortly after, a comet appeared in the sky..."

The mod takes place in XVII century, in the times that are known in the history as "Khmelnytsky Uprising" and "The Deluge" (Second Northern War). In 1648 Bohdan Khmelnytsky leads cossack rebellion that turns into a Ukrainian war of liberation from Poland - Zaporozhian Cossacks, allied with the Crimean Tatars, fight against the armies of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Soon powerfull neighbors of Poland - Russia and Sweden - sense an opportunity and attack the weakened Commonwealth, invading it's lands.

It is a time of great war and you'll have to choose which side you're on. Will you charge to battle as one of the powerfull and fearsome winged hussars? Or maybe you'll join the brave zaporozhian Cossacks in their rebellion? Or maybe you'll join the ranks of Kingdom of Sweden and spread death among your enemies by bombarding them with your fearsome cannons... Whatever side and role you'll choose there will be great challenges awaiting you. You must use advanced tactics to achieve victory. You must show your bravery and honor. You must fight your enemies... with fire and sword.
