At the request of the CPL, game developer Ritual Entertainment agreed to create three new one-versus-one multiplayer maps for Painkiller. The new maps are:
DM_Absinthe by Todd 'Mr Clean' Rose
DM_Balist by Russell 'Castle' Meakim
DM_5quid01 by Richard 'Charon' Heath
All three maps are in beta state and are visually unattractive. This facilitates any major changes without having to redo a lot of art. Once the layouts are locked down, the artwork will be completely finished.
We ask the community to focus on gameplay and provide relevant feedback on the Painkiller Forum hosted by CPL, so that the map designers have one simple location to read feedback.

DM_Absinthe
1) changed both armors to SA
2) removed all LG ammo (other than what you can get from the megapack)
3) widened a few choice halls
4) removed all health but mega from top levels
5) replaced a few of the short stair sets with ramps
DM_5quid01
1) extended the mega health hallway out longer, and added a teleport at the end of the hallway
2) swapped out the BA for an SA
3) removed one of the LG ammos
DM_Thebalist
1) rearranged several ammo packs
2) switched out BA for SA
3) fixed rocket ammo not appearing in GA room
