INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Exit any game you might be running and close Steam.

2. Move the folder called "materials" to the following directory:
{WHEREVER STEAM IS INSTALLED}\SteamApps\{YOUR USERNAME}\portal\portal

3. Boot up the game, start from the beginning, and grab the sleek new black Portalgun!

DESCRIPTION: This is a set of replacement skins for the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Both the world model and the first-person model will be affected. It simply changes the white parts of the Portalgun to a sleek black.

The screenshot included demonstrates how the gun will look in a variety of lighting conditions. I'd say the bottomright shot is the most common color it will appear while inside the test chambers. I wasn't able to capture a good example, but the upshot of having it be black is that, depending on lighting conditions, it will appear very reflective.

BUGS: None noticed yet.

COMMENTS: This will be my final release of this skin, as I honestly prefer the white myself, but I thought there would be a few users out there who would like this black version.

I'm not sure what claims of copyright I hold to it, if any, but consider this to be a formal request to not share or upload this skin to any website for distribution. I encourage spreading it amongst your friends, but I request no other form of wide distribution other than linking to it's page at http://halflife2.filefront.com/ . Thanks.
