Prison Architect reaches Alpha 9, adds prisoner employment and visitations
The development of Prison Architect is chugging along nicely as Introversion's Chris Delay announces the release of version Alpha 9 to those who've pre-purchased. We can now put those prisoners to work.
To save money at our correctional facilities we can start handing our mops, sponges and overalls to our prison populace. Also introduced is the visitation room so inmates can chat to family.

Valve has noticed people rather like paying for early access to games that are still in development and so decided to make it a thing. Early Access is now a category under Games - just beneath Free to Play.
Kicking this new category to life are the likes of Arma 3, Drunken Robot Pornography, Gnomoria, Kinetic Void, Prison Architect and others. It's almost like Steam is taking note of what we want or something.

Introversion today release Alpha 6 for Prison Architect and they have made some "big changes" to the prisoners as all now come with an "estimated risk category" based on their criminal history.
They've also given different types of uniform to better show who's a wolf and who's a lamb. It's been a "long term aim" for the team, creating a more 'realistic' imitation of prison life.
