Obsidian's Kickstarter project, a roleplaying game with the working title Project Eternity, continues to see strong support from fans. The crowdfunding effort has surpassed $3M and has just passed $3.1M with just under two days left.

UK developers, writers, film producers and artists will finally be able to crowd source their projects with British currency via Kickstarter on Halloween. They can begin setting up their projects today.

Project Eternity is nearing its $2M fundraising stretch goal on Kickstarter, which will add quests, NPCs, a companion hang out, more dialog, and a new store with new unique weapons, clothing, and armor. In the meantime, Obsidian's Tim Cain has released a new blog post on how skills will work.

Obsidian has already raised $1.5 million for its upcoming Project Eternity RPG. The developer wants to keep crowd-sourcing until $2.4 million is in the bag. An update on characters, parties and other aspects of the game has been provided on the official forums.
