Techland's Dead Island and Relic's Warhammer 40k: Space Marine have kept their number 1 and 2 spots respectively for another week in the all format UK chart.

Resistance 3 climbs up 3rd, nudging down Driver: San Francisco 4th. Deus Ex: Human Revolution stays at a conspiratorial 5th place. Zumba won't let go 6th.

THQ has given the Red Faction franchise a virtual vote of no confidence, as the company has expressed less confidence in the moneymaking aspect of the series, which began over a decade ago.

Publisher THQ's "biggest prong" for the digital landscape is to "turn digital ecosystem on" for the home consoles, which means XBLA and PSN titles galore.

Bite size titles that "sets you up" for the major game and "makes you familiar with the brand." Unlockables in the main games and other bonuses are important.

Gaming nostalgia has shot Duke Nukem Forever to the UK all format throne, with 56% of retail copies on Xbox 360, 30% on PS3 and just 14% on PC.

Sucker Punch's inFamous 2 debuted 4th in the chart and THQ's Red Faction: Armageddon managed 8th. L.A. Noire's top streak ends as it makes do 2nd.

Small miracles do happen after all as PlayStation Store - you remember that right? - is back online after Sony technicians had finished tinkering new security.

Both the US and EU PlayStation.Blog sites are bulging with their respective Store updates, which also mean the 'Welcome Back' game offers can be claimed.
