Deep Silver has been forced to change the cover for Risen 2: Dark Waters in North America after The Entertainment Software Ratings Board deemed it too graphic.
As you can see in the image below, the original packshot contained red paint that could be seen as excessive blood, which goes against the rating boards marketing guidelines. The publisher has changed the red paint to a light blue to solve this problem.

Risen 2: Dark Waters, which can be best described as "The Elder Scrolls with Pirates", will be delayed until May. The release date has been changed from the 27th April worldwide to the 22nd May in North America and 25th May in Europe.

Deep Silver has announced a special pre-order bonus for anyone that purchases the RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters before its release at the end of April.
"Treasure Isle" is the free DLC that will be given to pre-order customers, which is valued at £8.00 / 800 Microsoft Points. Players will embark on a new quest to uncover Captain Steelbeard's legendary treasure, which continues a plot element from the first Risen game.
