This game is nothing like the first. it completely discards the "ageing" system of your empire and moves to more magic over technolagy mind set, if you were a fan of the first solely because of its "progresance" though each age of mankind you will not like this game, but it has a pretty good campain long lasting i think and some nice special affects. but it isnt as out there as the first was and it never will be, gameplay is quite good but can get a little boring. this is one of those weekend games you hire from the video libary
