Version 0.05B is out, it has:
New Star Wars Galexys Themed UI
Star Wars Music
Rebel, Hutt and Empire factions
Loads of new units
Morale Improvements
Flamethrowers
bowcasters
Historical battles
Historical only Units, 501st and Delta Squad
a couple easter eggs
It is larger than before with a whopping 130MB file size, This is mostly beacause of the Music in the mod. Progress on the mod is going to stop for a couple of days after this release in order to make footage to promote the mod on youtube. after that short pause the team shall be working on the campaigns for the mod. The campaigns will not be a huge galatic map campaign, they will be short 1-2 hour campaigns with a few planets that you have to use stratedgy to win. in this mod you are a general not the leader of a senate or empire. you lead an offensive or defensive for key planets in the galexy in order to win. There will different campaigns for different factions, even one for the hutts that will allow them to face off against the empire and rebelion.
v0.05B is all about the battles, nothing else.
Each date given is the date of the next release, the release cycle is as follows:
v0.05a - alpha for unit balencing
v0.05b - beta for unit balencing
v0.1a - alpha for campagin testing
v0.1b - beta for capaign testing
the alpha gives data for the beta, half increment for new units, full increment for capaign release.
the very first alpha shall be released soon it will be rough but it will be intresting to get feedback.
