This is the public beta of Rise of Persia, a complete modification for Rome: Total War.
This mod focuses on the rise of Achaemenid Persia, or Hakamanishiya Pars, starting in 559 BC. The current beta features six playable factions: Hakamanishiya Pars, Pandya, Taras, Athenai, Lakadaimon and the Ionian Cities. We have a fully working campaign map stretching from India, the home of Pandya, to Italy, where the city state of Taras is becoming quite powerful.
