The next installement will be more of a "city builder" game than the previous outing which garnered many complaints about being too combat-oriented. The new graphics engine will allow animations of buildings upgrading, women kicking and screaming when being dragged off by bandits, even sheets flapping on the clothes line as they dry in the wind. When in Spring and Summer, the focus will be more agricultural, with then men sitting around drinking and having to be co-erced back to work by a singing "Hero" (yes, there are Heroes, just a bit different). In Winter, the focus will shift more to hunting, or raiding nearby villages for food...and women. There will be combat, as always, but that is not the focus of the game this time round. Looks to be a good title to stop your clocks and watches, and only realize times of day by sunsets and rises (bit like having a newborn, really). Looking forward to this one.
