No platforms have been mentioned and no title has christened the new Ultimate Alliance yet but it's expected to see a '08 date.
The original was released two years ago in 2006 for PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox360, Wii and GBA. Time for the gang to reunite I guess and brag a lot. | |

Uwe Boll to direct... just kidding. They have an actual talent behind the project, Mr Gore Verbinski, the man responsible for the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and The Ring.
Verbinski is reportedly very excited about BioShock, he says it's "just brimming with cinematic potential". | |

They released the announcement during a conference call, where they were happily posting their financial results.
No news whether Infinity Ward or Treyarch are handling the game but the latter is working on the new James Bond game, which will use the COD4 engine. | |

You can choose from orcs, elves, ents to Frodo, Gandalf and even ol 'One Eye' himself, with around 150 characters promised on screen at once. | |

Getting down with us cool slang hipsters, Roy Taylor of NVIDIA proclaims the rampant pirate culture of games for PC does indeed suck, and suck big time.
He believes better digital authentication could really help, offer patches and extra goodies only to those legitimate and registered owners. | |

Codemasters announced today that its released a playable demo for the Xbox 360 version of Race Drive: Grid onto the Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo will contain 3 events which consists of The eBay Motors Muscle Cup which allows you to take the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT-R, whilst the advanced International Trophy lets you drive a Nissan S15 Silvia, and lastly the Euro Turing Car Series gives you a BMW 320si touring car. | |

Given the length of time DOOM 3 took to reach avid gamers it's almost shocking to hear anything about such a thing until 2015 or so. Some breaks in tradition are a good thing.

The PC version of Mass Effect is going to require an Internet connection to play as the game comes with a copy protection/activation procedure that requires the Internet to go online and activate your copy. Gamers will be able to play Mass Effect for 10 days, but the game won't start up after this period until the software is able to go online and register your copy. | |
