Electronic Arts has registered several domains including SimCitySocial.com, SimCity-Social.com and SimCityFacebook.com, while creating a currently unpublished SimCity Social Facebook page. |

The company attributes it both to its acquisition of major social networking and casual game companies such as PopCap Games, Playfish and Chillingo, as well as its new digital distribution service, Origin. |
